Whatever positive change you want to make in your life, it involves growth.. and growth can feel really uncomfortable, like reeeeeeally uncomfortable.
Growth happens away from what’s familiar.
Growth happens away from the need for other people’s opinions of you.
Growth happens away from your usual way of being and doing.
Growth happens on the other side of comfort.
Growth involves risk.
Like the risk of losing friendships – it can be hard to adapt when another person becomes different to how they were before, especially if you are doing better now and it highlights to them how they are not.
Like the risk of looking stupid as you recalibrate.
Like the risk of not getting a return on your investment if you pay someone to help you with your growth.
Like the risk of failing and hearing righteous people delight in their choice to stay stuck when they see you struggling through the discomfort, like the caterpillar through it’s metamorphosis, and they say “that wasn’t very clever to decide to become a butterfly now was it?” (apparently it’s a painful process for the caterpillar…).
But then one day, when you become that butterfly, you get to feel proud, you get to thank yourself for having the courage, the strength, the resilience, the tenacity, the determination and the willingness to GROW.
So how can you not choose that when you know how it’s going to enrich your life?
Even if you don’t actually get to “there”, you get to thank yourself and feel proud for your courage.
Courage was given to us by God to get through fear.
And fear is the poison that will try to keep you down.
Don’t let it.
Be brave. Be strong. Have faith in yourself.
Growing is what you came here to do… like all of nature.
Don’t ignore that truth.
You and your life are worth that.
Life truly does begin outside of your comfort zone.
So what are you waiting for?
Come join me getting uncomfortable. I’m over here waiting for you. I’m here to tell you that you’ve got this. I’m here to tell you that you are amazing, that you are incredible and that you’ve got so much untapped potential that gets to emerge now that you have decided to allow it too. I’m excited for you and I can’t wait to see you fly!
Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you want my support to learn about the different possibilities to work with me. I’ve got a particularly interesting offer running until 28 June.
